Fall Happening 2012
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Expectancy, is the word that comes to mind as I begin this letter. We are excited about our up and coming "Fall Happening". This Happening is an occasion for youth and the adults who love them! There will be sessions for teh yuth & adults in attendance!
We are looking forward to seeing you all at this year's Happening and you should come with a sense of expectancy; that is you should expect a Blessing!
We ask that you would make plans now for attending the happening! We are in the preliminary stage of our planning, but, we know that it will not be the same without you all being there. Our theme this year is "Survivor....Heaven Bound!" based on scripture found in Matt.11:28-30; "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest! Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls! For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We have some great ideas and know that your youth will be inspired by being present. We ask that you would mark your calendar for November 3-4, 2012. These are the dates that all roads lead to 2948 Thomas Blvd., Port Arthur, Texas. On Saturday, Registration will begin at 8am. The program will culminate around 3:30pm. Please note that Continental Breakfast, and Lunch will be provided. We invite you to join us on Sunday at 8:50am for Bible Study and 10:00am for worship service. We encourage you to pre-register your group by going to the site stated below, by mail, or by fax. The needed informaiton is names, ages, grade levels, adults chaperones, & contact persons name and telephone number.
